      · Meals are professionally prepared; then served by Rotary and other volunteers every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, 5:30-6:15.

      · The number of children and adults served October 24, 2001 through May 1, 2002, total over 600, averaging 14 per day.

      · Donations received to date exceed $6,000.  $2,000 of which came from a Rotary International grant.

      · 40 Rotarians have volunteered over 250 hours of their time.

      · Received certification from the Good Shepherd Food Bank to purchase bulk food at an average cost of 14 cents per pound.  This will dramatically reduce the cost of this program.

      · Lincoln Principal Enga Stewart, Director of Nutrition Barbara Raymond and Kitchen Manager Rachel Childs are the driving force behind the success of this program at Lincoln Elementary.
