Yesterday was quite productive for us. We managed to connect at the motorcycle dealership Morgan & Wacker where Bob's bike is supposed to arrive for ride prep. Seems it has been shipped, but we've not been able to find it. Hoping it's tied up in customs someplace. Recent holidays may have skewed delivery times. More later.

Walter got us a deal on a mini camper van for use as the chase care, emergency shelter, and early arrival prep. I connected with the Australian Communications Authority and received my license. VK4YNA

We attended the lunch meeting of the Rotary Club of Brisbane... the city's oldest, established in 1923. They meet in the rather posh Brisbane Club, on the 4th floor... right downtown. Quite a helpful and jovial group. We were well received and appreciate the connections who will help us with customs, hotels around OZ, and the International Convention. They are also arranging a group to escort us into town with grand press coverage on May 31st.

April 29th we found Bob's motorcycle, and it may be availablle by noon tomorrow. Australia is quite strict on goods coming into the country that may be carrying natural pestulance. The motorcycle will need ot be inspected for soil deposits that may be construed as so bearing.

We visited with Brisbane North Club at lunch, had fun, met good people and received additional offers for aid. Above is a photo of Bob and President Phil... though the flash closed his eyes. Sorry, Phil...
